Christmas Eve is a huge celebration for our family. We have a beautiful Italian feast of seven fishes, delicious red wine, yummy desserts (I hope we have Oreo Truffle Balls this year…hint, hint, Nicole) and an evening of making new, super fun memories with our family. With that being said, I love dressing up for Christmas Eve and getting fancy with it. This year I had planned to wear this beautiful silk and sequin sweater I wore when Anthony and I got married in a little Italian restaurant last year. It’s sparkly and stunning – perfect for this celebration and I’ve been dying to wear it again. That was the plan, of course, until I was driving in Lincoln Park on the way to teach a yoga class and almost crashed when I saw this skirt staring back at me thru a shop window.
Obsessed, to say the least. I think what I love most about it is how versatile it is. I feel like I can rock this stunner on Christmas Eve and then again in the summer with a white tank and strappy heels. Then maybe channel Sharon Stone’s 98′ Oscar look and throw on a white Gap button down, pop the collar and wear it to a wedding. So many options! Plus, there’s a frigging bow in the back! Swoon.
