My personal interpretation of this brilliant quote has to do with calming an anxious mind and sorting through all of those crazy, frigging thoughts. We all have anxieties. Our lives are slammed with chaos, responsibilities, constant decision making, and balancing acts. The sky is the limit for each and every one of us but when it comes to getting there, we tend to get in our own God damn way without even knowing it. The main culprit? Anxiety. If we took the time to stop, relax, and sort through these anxious, piling thoughts going through our heads, we would find clarity, and the once overwhelmed mind would feel calm and understood. We would have simplicity: the quality or condition of being easy to understand or do. Cluttered minds are good for one thing and one thing only. Fucking shit up. So, spring cleaning time is upon us, again. As important as it is to clear our physical lives of clutter, clearing our mental spaces of clutter is most important. If this is not done, our physical spaces, too, will remain cluttered because without mental clarity, physical clarity suffers. I struggle with all of this. Every single day. I make efforts, though, and when I do what I am supposed to do to take care of my pretty little mind… simplicity arrives and Oh, how I love her! Enjoy this day! You will enjoy it even more once you have simplicity in your life! XOXO
