Every day I try to wake up with a positive attitude. I think that’s the easy part. The hard part is riding that wave of positivity throughout the day. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. I like this idea of making today, THE DAY. Why wait? This way of thinking, for me, helps keep my spirits up and have something fun to look forward to. Why keep saying you’re going to do something or try something new? Make today the day to do it. Plan that road trip. Take that run. Call that guy. Do that thing you said you were going to do a year ago. You know that old saying…poop or get off the pot. For me, today I am finally going to sign up for something I have been wanting to do for years. Wait for it. Fencing. I have been dying to try it. The outfit, the fencing stance, the lack of coordination I have that I need to work on, the challenge and stepping outside my comfort zone are all reasons I need to try it at least once. It’s on my bucket list and if I get to 50 and say, “gee, I really want to try fencing”, I am going to be really annoyed with myself. Take a moment today and think about that one thing you keep saying, “you’re going to do” and then do it. If you need some added motivation…here is some Shia LaBouf to help get you there. Prepare yourself for some rat tail motivation Monday! (PS. turn the volume down a bit…you’re welcome.) Enjoy your day TSPeeps!!!
