There is no doubt I have this symptom in life and for as long as I can remember, all I wanted to do was travel. Seeing as much of the world as I can with The Mister Project is a top priority for me and this urge to do so never seems to go away…and I am ok with that. There is something about the initial excitement of boarding a plane in Chicago and within a matter of hours walking off that same plane in an entirely new world. Whether it is going two states away or across the ocean, it doesn’t matter to me, I just want to explore new places, meet new people and see the beautiful planet we live on. Plus, I love a good adventure! In just about a week, we will pack up and head to Tuscany to witness the Palio. This is an enormously celebrated event in Siena which involves a horse race and ton of competition between the Italians. I cannot wait to see and feel all of the excitement and enthusiasm around us. It’s going to be unlike anything we’ve ever done before. This will also be our first time in this region of Italy and truth be told, I might cry at the first taste of true Tuscan wine. While I love seeing the world, I love nothing more than who I get to explore it with, The Mister Project. To travel with someone really creates this special bond because it’s just the two of you. You rely on one another and look out for each other. Not to mention, you see things you’ve dreamt about with one another.
If you get the chance to do so, take those vacation days and go somewhere! Anywhere, near or far. It changes you in a way nothing else in life can.
Love it. Live it. Share it.
