LuLaRoe. Ever hear of it? If you are from the Midwest probably not. I mean, I didn’t know anything about it until recently. I am sure you are all flooded with chicks selling anything you can possibly imagine on your FB newsfeeds. I am and I get it. I mean, who isn’t trying to make a few extra bucks? (Check this out!) I was incredibly intrigue!d, though, when I saw something being sold I hadn’t seen before. This broad I know was selling clothes. She was busting out pop up shops all over the country. It was nuts! (Just like her and the leggings she is selling like hot cakes.) This girl, let’s call her Victoria, because that’s her name, impressed me. Her work ethic is through the roof and her passion and excitement for the product she is selling is obvious and contagious. I joined her FB page for LuLaRoe and she literally selling clothes all.day.long. The moment she posts a new product… SOLD. And this stuff sells quickly and consistently for a few reasons:
- The product is cool.
- The product is quality.
- Victoria is really effing good at her job.
Let me tell you a little bit about this Superstar who slings cool ass leggings for a living (well, that and takes care of her two super cute, little boys and her husband). Victoria Hinsdale Robb has lived in Annapolis, MD for the past six years. Hand making statement necklaces at nap time got her into the fashion scene in Annapolis. Doing vendor events, networking at festivals, and ultimately socializing with hip friends became her introduction to LuLaRoe clothes which she fell in love with herself. After being a customer for 9 months, she decided she needed to be the one to expose the brand to Chicagoans and her overall webbing of friends. This is all thanks to her dear friend and mentor, Meagan Parker, for introducing her to the line. With the support of her husband, she partnered with LuLaRoe and is enjoying success through hard work and airline miles. Speaking of airlines, I have to tell you a killer sales story about Victoria. Midway airport lost one of her bags briefly and to celebrate the finding of it, she sold leggings to airport personnel at baggage claim! I mean, who does that? LMAO. When you meet her/join her LuLaRoe Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/LuLaRoeVictoriaRobb/) you will get it. She is tenacious and she loves life. And she is really good at her job. Really good. Victoria has created success in her partnership with LuLaRoe, not only by flying all over the country to host pop-up’s to bring more exposure to the brand, but also by having her shopping page on Facebook. She is a master at pairing items together to any body type and pattern mixing is her forte. Victoria has a gift. She is able to see things outside of the box and she believes in expressing herself and yourself anyway you see fit when it comes to personal style. Basically, Victoria Robb is a cool ass chic and we are beyond excited to welcome her and her clothing line LulaRoe to our TSP family!
LuLaRoe began in Southern California. The clothes are simply comfortable, trendy clothing proudly made in the USA (except for the leggings. They are made in their own factory just a boat ride away.) Check out this link to learn more about the line and the LuLaRoe story. When it comes to buying LuLaRoe, Victoria is your girl. How do you buy this cool ass shit? Click here https://www.facebook.com/groups/LuLaRoeVictoriaRobb/ and join her business page. “I will post size charts and you are encouraged to ask for sizing tips from me if you offer me your dress, jeans, and bra size. To buy an item you simply comment on the picture with your email address to claim that item.” How do yo receive the item(s)? “I email you an invoice. You pay and I ship.” Kind of a badass way to shop, no? Victoria is a whiz at sizing and fitting and will personally navigate you through the styles. The line is made up of dresses, skirts, tunics, leggings, kimonos, something for everyone in every size from XXS-3XL. And don’t get your panties in a bunch. Victoria’s focus is on HER business and styling the world with her product. She ain’t gonna try to make you drink the kool-aid and join her team. That’s not how she rolls and LuLaRoe doesn’t really roll like that either. Her vision is huge and from what I see, homegirl is going to have naked, saggy tittied ladies in Africa sporting whacky printed leggings in no time (along with the rest of the world’s population). I am going to say this, though. She is pulling in the dough. Big time. I have seen her sell and people love her product. She popped up a shop at her family’s lake house in Michigan and girls were walking out of there with frigging BAGS of merchandise. You may want to look into it, but know it is not Victoria’s motive. Her motive is getting your ass into her clothes because they are quality and because they are cool.
The sisters and I knew we had to introduce all of you TSPeeps to LLR. The price point is crazy affordable and the range of sizes and options are pretty frigging cool. What better way to show you than having a good old fashion photo shoot?!
Below, Michelle is wearing some LLR jazzy ass leggings. You must know, Michelle loathes being in these photo shoots. Being in front of the camera is not her thing and getting her to feel comfortable and look natural is quite the task for Lauren and I. Her preference is to have every picture of her shown without her head. Crazy considering she is drop dead gorgeous. Moving on, LLR’s legging are the softest things I have ever felt. They wash beautifully and make sure to line dry, bitches. Victoria can hook you up with endless prints, patterns, and colors. Just ask her.
Check out this T-shirt. It is called “The Perfect Tee” and for good reason. The length is where it needs to be and the cut is spot on. Layered or alone, it is a staple for every girl’s closet. Comes in solids and prints galore! Michelle opted to wear the Perfect Tee with a pair of ripped up jeans, a fitted vest, and a pair of motorcycle boots. She rocked this look.
Awe, shit. My turn. Camo Maxi Skirt? Yes, please! I love, love, love this thing. I threw on my converse and leather jacket and Boom Chicalacca! I am in my happy place. This skirts fit is really nice. It doesn’t cling onto my fat ass the way some maxi’s do. It’s quite forgiving and majorly comfortable.
Favorite LuLaRoe Piece Alert! The Monroe Kimono. Sweet baby Jesus gets a huge ass high five from me for this one. I styled this Kimono a little differently than you usually see it. Versatility, people, and think outside of the box! Black, red, and white chevron AND fringe makes this girl a happy one. Oh, and guess what? LLR kimonos also come in lace (and of course a million other prints and colors). Yeah. I know. Frigging awesome.
Little Sister Lauren’s turn and of course she is ridiculously stunning in her LLR ensembles! Below she is rocking the Ana Dress. Both Michelle and Lauren tried this dress on and it is GORGEOUS. The fit is lovely and the cut is super feminine and flirty. Prints for days. Lauren perfectly accessorized The Ana, didn’t she? She’s so annoying that way. Always looking cute.
And lastly, The Madison skirt. This skirt is the cats meow. We are in love with the cut, length, and fit. High waisted and just above the knee, this skirt is classically cut with a super trendy print making it super versatile and fun. Lauren perfectly paired it with a solid turtle neck and those boots are sexy, girl.
And just so you can see what we go through to get Michelle comfortable and smiling during these photo shoots…. Ladies and gentlemen! The CanCan dancer! This is seriously what Lauren has to do behind my back to make Michelle laugh. My God, how awesome is our job?!
I am sure you can now see why we love and support this line of Victoria’s. It is versatile and fun, affordable, comfortable, and it’s American. I featured only a few favorites of their gazillion pieces to show you what they are about and how badass you can style this stuff. Whether your style is whacky or conservative, LuLaRoe has something for you and your little girls. Yep, LLR has children sizes and you are basically going to freak out when you get a gander of the tiny, little leggings and sweet little dresses. My Margot LOVES her hard candy printed LLR dress. Too bad she is a psychotic three year old beast who won’t let me photograph her.
Like I said, hit up Victoria’s LuLaRoe Facebook page and get yourself some cool ass shit. Tell her TSP sent ya and ask her any questions you have. She is devoted to styling you and making sure you look and feel beautiful because of course, when you look good, you feel good. Everyone knows that.
She’s a freckled Mexican so naturally you can follow her @freckledmexican on Instagram.
Go on, now! Get! I better see you wearing some cool ass LLR shit real soon now, ya hear? Oh, and here are some trends you can use while styling and accessorizing your new threads!
Love It. Live it. Share it.
