I don’t know about you, but social engineering among kids is real and isn’t helping the cause. Don’t you think we should stand back and let our kids choose who they want to be with?
My day job consists of communicating with government employees on the regular. DEAR LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH! I have most certainly ended emails with these phrases.
I am taking the plunge into the small dog world. One of my biggest fears is that they will be impossible to potty train. According to this blog they are totally trainable.
Mother Nature is a boss! When there is a will there is a way!! Check out these tree roots making cement their bitch. If they can do that I can certainly get my eyebrows to fill in, for crying out loud.
I am a huge loser in the kitchen lately. I can’t seem to get my shit together and make healthy Paleo meals for myself because I am always too busy worrying about what I am going to make my kids that they aren’t going to eat. I stumbled upon Real Plans on my favorite Paleo site NomNom Paleo and I think I am going to do it. It is meal planning for idiots. Check it out.
I LOVED the 90’s. It was hands down the worst fashion and style perhaps in fashion history, but I still loved it. Just like how I love this Michigan house. Apparently nothing in it has changed since the 90’s and I basically want to move in. The pool is my absolute favorite part! You need to see this.
Speaking of fashion, here are Vogue’s top 12 trends for the season ahead. Think corduroy, feathers, silver, ski sweaters and fringe like you’ve never seen it before. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Although I can’t afford even a button on this couture list, I like to see what will inspire my own fall fashion.
Now that it’s September, my mind is full speed ahead on autumn, which you know what that means, all things pumpkins and APPLES! The sisters and I are heading to Virtue Cidery later this month for a mini road trip and a tasting. If you’re looking for a fall getaway in Michigan and love yourself some good cider, this may be your jam.
Love it. Live it. Share it.
