If you’re a gigantic, super organized nerd like myself, you need this planner. If you’re a little more like sister Nicole and could use a bit of help in the time management/organizing department, you need this planner. Now, this isn’t just any monthly planner. Actually, sit down because you’re going to freak the f&@$ out when I tell you what this planner is about. Let’s begin with the name of said planner: The Passion Planner. I geeked out hardcore when I searched and found this thing. It took several days to arrive and I totally stalked the mail man like a total creep waiting for it. He parks in front of our house and a few times I stood at the window and watched him prepare his mail boxes for delivery and if I saw anything that resembled an 8×11 size envelope I would seriously pray that it was my Passion Planner. I borderline stalked the people at PP via Facebook posts, Facebook messages AND email asking when it was going to ship similar to what a crazy person would do. Whatever. Imagine the excitement I had when it finally arrived at my doorstep. I tweaked. You’re probably wondering why I went to such extreme lengths to receive my PP, I’d be wondering too. I think the best way to explain is to provide some visuals and then just bullet point why this planner is so badass. I can almost guarantee you’ll order one once you finish reading this especially since the.price.is.right.
Ok let’s get to why the Passion Planner is a must. PS. Please note this is NOT a sponsored post. I don’t even know the PP people nor have I ever even spoken to anyone at PP, well except when I was stalking them regarding my shipment. Sorry about that, PP peeps. This is basically just a slightly unhealthy obsession I have with a book full of blank pages…but are they blank? Not at all.
Got goals? If you don’t, you should get some. And with the help of PP you will not only write them down, the planner will help you crush them. They help you set yearly, monthly and daily goals and keep you check in as the days, weeks and months go by. There is also a midyear round up to gauge your progress with your long term goals. Basically whether it’s long term or short term, Passion Planner is on you to get your s&*$ done and goals accomplished.
Time management at it’s finest. My last planner was all over the place. I tried, but I could barely see what was happening and when. This sexy planner has half hour increments laid out for you starting at 6am going until 1030pm. You can use mini post its, colored tape, highlighters, whatever you damn well please to personalize this to however you would like to. Time slots are a game changer, there is no doubt about that.
Let those creative juices flow! One of my favorite parts coming right up! This planner can be as basic and plain or as colorful and funky as your little heart desires. It can be your place to doodle, draw and create. It will become your little buddy where you get to be as creatively expressive as you want. Or not at all. That’s the beautiful thing about it. However, I believe each of us has creative vibes in us, some have to search more than others, but they’re there in some way, shape or form. This really can be an amazing outlet to explore that side of you. Personally, I use color pencils in my PP.
Personal and work to do lists are separated and should stay that way forever. This was one of my favorite features of the planner. Here’s the deal, I the find it necessary to have two separate notebooks, one for personal info and to do lists and another for my work stuff. Passion Planner solved all of my problems. This way I can see everything on one page, yet separated in two categories. Two birds, one stone. Done.
Dear diary. There is ample space and opportunities to create and write. The planner has a ton of blank space to write thoughts, goals, ideas, memories, lyrics, poems, whatever it is you’re into. There are also monthly reflections so you can check the status of accomplishing your goals and recalling some of your favorite moments of the past month. Not to mention weekly prompts for what your focus will be for the next several days. Love it.
There is a “not to do list”. Let’s be real, there are as many things we want not to do as much as things we want to do. Not smoke cigs, not spend money you don’t have, not call back that guy that was kinda creepy but kinda cute too. I want to not drink wine Monday thru Friday, well, actually what I really want is to drink wine Sunday thru Saturday, but Lord knows I shouldn’t. Writing this stuff down helps hold you accountable.
Quotes, I freakin LOVE quotes! Who doesn’t love a weekly inspirational quote to set the tone of the next seven days? I know I do! Not only is there a cool quote on every weekly spread, there’s an action part as well to put your booty to in high gear and demolish the week head, in a good way of course.
It’s a Kickstarter. Passion Planner was started in 2014 by a cool ass chick named Angelia Trinidad. Her mission with Passion Planner is to create a tool to help people get after their passions and dreams. To sit down every single day and focus on the steps that need to be taken, along with your everyday tasks and to dos, to become closer to accomplishing your goals and passions in life. She started her business out of her garage and shipped out 2,147 Passion Planners in her first year. She was passionate about a dream she had. To help people get their minds and lives situated and prioritized by creating one of the most thorough and well balance planners I have ever seen in my life. I, personally, am extremely grateful you followed your dream Angelia! Thank you! Oh and guess what? She wants to help you SO much that Passion Planner also has printable PDF’s files in the event you want to print, punch some holes and create a PP binder. Talk about good karma.
“I wanted to help people pursue their passions; to pursue that thing that makes them excited to get up everyday because when you follow your passion you never have to work a day in your life.” Angelia Trinidad
It’s big, black and beautiful. The triple threat! Aesthetically, this planner is gorgeous! The binding is so well done and the pages are thick and not flimsy and cheap. I purchased the Classic 8.5 x 11, which a friend stated, “is a commitment”. Indeed it is, but it’s so relaxing to grab my planner in the evening, chill out and go over my commitments and to dos for the week. There is also the Compact 5.5 x 8.5 PP, for those that want it on the go in a smaller bag or purse.
It has you covered! Whether you prefer a monthly calendar or a weekly/daily one…well, you’re in luck. You get them all! I like to use the monthly one to document special events, big appointments and deadlines. Then I use the weekly/daily spread to keep track of the details of my days with in the week. P
Life gets busy and where’s the fun in speeding thru it? The day can go by and you may realize you forgot to do something or be some where. Months can go by and you’re still saying you’re going to take the yoga class you said you were going to take at the beginning of the year. It’ll be May before you know it and your workout/diet goals aren’t seeing any headway. I hate when I get to that point, where I feel like I’m not getting things done and accomplishing my goals at the rate that I want to be. Those days are long gone! 2016 is going to be the B-O-M-B and this year I am going to deliver my goals on a silver platter to myself. ALL HAIL THE PASSION PLANNER!!!!
Want one yet??? Here ya go, TSPeeps. Let’s do this.
Love it. Live it. Share it.
