I love nothing more than a solid traveling adventure. Whether it’s close to home, say in Michigan, or a fifteen hour flight away, say in Australia, I am down to explore and learn all about new places. And as a lover of traveling, I thoroughly enjoy looking and living vicariously through other travelers photos. There is something about getting the travel bug from a friend or Instagram user who has been to a far off land you have never been to, but am dying to go to. I first found my own travel bug back in 2005 when my dad shipped my brother and I off to the motherland to meet our relatives and immerse in the Italian culture. If I could visit a new country every month and totally fall in love with the culture of the land, I would! I definitely have an insatiable appetite for wanderlust and adventure. Even when The Mister Project and I can’t get away for a bit, we’ll explore our own city. Perhaps we’ll explore a new neighborhood, take a long ass bike ride or go on a food and pub crawl throughout the city. It’s our way of enjoying new places without going too far. We take off today for Boston and as I was going through my Instagram to check out photos from our last trip there in 2014, I instantly got bit by the travel bug yet again. OUCH! I strolled through photos of Bali, Italy, Tulum….I want to go back to them all. Unfortunately, I can’t at the moment, but thanks to Instagram, I get to take trips down traveling memory lane whenever I want. Here are my top favorite travel photos from my Instagram account, @themidsis. I’m sorry in advance if you want to pack up your bags and take off, however, I encourage you strongly to do so!
