What’s up party people?! I’m super excited to share some of my regular beauty products that I use on the daily and the weekly. Over the past few years, I have gathered a good group of items for my face and body that I can’t live without. All of these potions have made me a very happy and consistent consumer. Each serves its own unique purpose. We’re talking an incredible detangler, some magical lotions to keep my face super hydrated and a face sheet mask that will hide any hint of a hangover…that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Another mask, a toner that I am newly obsessing over and some Aussie balm that I think every human should have. Believe it or not, there is even more. Now let’s quit the small talk and get to what matters at the moment: beauty must-haves!

Neutrogena Body Oil: Earthlings, here is one of the most beautiful after shower body oils that will ever touch your skin. During the summer months when we allow our bodies to get a little sun-kissed this here sesame oil is where it’s at. It has a very light and subtle, yet beautiful, fragrance. It is not intense at all in that department. Where it is intense is in the moisturizing and body glowing department. You girls want this. Think as soft as a baby’s bottom.

Andalou Hydration Sheet Mask: TSPeeps, here is your cure to a hungover face. You know what I’m talking about. A night of too much vino can wreak havoc on our pretty faces. Not to mention that makeup just doesn’t want to lay right, am I right? And if it couldn’t get any worse, I actually look as hungover as I feel. So obviously, the best choice is to not over-imbibe, however, that doesn’t always go according to plan. So in the event of an overindulgent emergency or you just want your face looking as fresh as a GD daisy, this mask is your go-to. You can literally feel it working.

m-61 Power Glow Peel: I use this little fella once maaaaaybe twice a week if need be. Talk about a way to invigorate and revive the skin! This peel helps exfoliate my skin using glycolic and salicylic acid. Several swipes and a little tingle and my face is beaming. I absolutely love applying them at the end of the week for a weekend glow. They are literally one-minute facials, but you’re at home, there is no Enya playing in the background and no one is going to wipe it all over your face for you. So get it done.

m-61 Vitablast C Serum: Last year I finally invested in some vitamin C as I had been told to do for like three years. I have no idea what the hell took so long,  but better late than never. That little blue bottle is jam-packed with good things for our pretty faces. It helps protect from environmental stressors as well as promotes elasticity which is super freaking important in the anti-aging department. It aids in hydration and hyperpigmentation as well. Basically, it helps make your skin look really f*cking good.

REN Vita Mineral Rescue Cream: Ohhhh lordy, lordy! I am head over heels in love with this super emollient cream. Here’s the deal. In the past nothing ever kept my face looking or feeling hydrated. Over the years I have gone from lotion to lotion hoping that something will keep my skin from not looking dull. It was about three years ago when I came across this REN product. It gives me all day hydration which is precisely why I’m in love with it. Oh and throw in that it’s a bit more on the natural side of beauty products and now I’m a creepy stalking version of in love with it.

Andalou Pure Pore Toner: Speaking of natural products, add this one to the list. As you can see I’m a fan of this line. Why? Because their products do what they say. Do they solve every problem and make my skin look perfect? No. My skin has never been perfect. But I can tell you what it does do, it keeps it in check. It maintains it and that is precisely what I am looking for. I needed a toner and knowing how much I love their sheet masks I thought I’d give it a go. This one is a keeper.

IMG_1644

Lucas’ Papaw Ointment: All hail Luca’s Papaw Ointment! People, you need this. You need this for anything and everything. Lips dry as hell and need a lip balm? Here ya go! Cuticles looking a little funky and you’re about to head out for the night straight from work and no time for a mani, but you don’t want to scare anyone away with your digits? Your problems are solved. How about you got yourself some dry heels…lather this on every night. The possibilities are endless when it comes to this ointment. Think sunburn, minor cuts, or any other weird skin thing that can happen. You want this in your purse at all times.

YES to / Coconut Hand and Cuticle Cream: Clearly I want soft and smooth hands, but you know what else I want? I want to smell beachy coconuts all day long. Our mom always had hand cream in her purse, and it’s safe to say she passed down that beauty habit to her girls. Honestly, I think every lady should have some hand cream in her beauty bag. It keeps them looking youthful and moisturized. This formula is beautiful.

Innisfree Pore Clay Mask: My pores have been a lifelong struggle for me. I have to put forth a solid effort in minimizing them and keeping them clean and clear. This is my go-to for this skin issue of mine. After a nice warm shower to help encourage my pores to open and with a fresh clean face, I take a warm washcloth and lay it on my face for 30 seconds or so, I pat dry and apply one layer of this thick mask to my small face. I let it dry and then take the same washcloth and remove the mask with warm water. I see a huge difference in the appearance of my pores after using it. If you have similar problematic pores, I would 100%  pop this mask in your cart and give it a go.

Pureology 21: I have the world’s knottiest hair. I’m basically like a four your old when I get out of the shower and dread the idea of brushing out my hair because my head is going to yank in every direction I brush it in. The struggle is real…or rather, it was real. This detangler formula has solved all of those problems. A few spritzes of 21 and I got 21 problems but knotty hair ain’t one. Also, helps my thin kind of straw-like hair have some life and shine to it.

So there you have it beauty products lovers. A peek into my everyday regiment. I’m super eager to know what I can be missing out on in the beauty department so spill the beans, TSPeeps. Share with your sister from another mister. xo

Hygge is humble and slow. It is choosing rustic over new, simple over posh, and ambience over excitement. In many ways, hygge might be the Danish cousin to slow and simple living.
