Happy Holidays, TSPeeps! I’d like to share a little bit of me and what it looks like from the inside of my abode during the holidays as I feel there is nothing cozier than a house all decked out for the season. Much of my Christmas swag has sentimental value, or a story, or both. Vintage Santa is the most prized of them all. He was the last gift my mom ever gave me and will forever be my favorite Christmas thing. To me, he symbolizes a full-circle moment, as he was gifted to me by the very lady that made Santa and Christmas magic for me when I was a kid. I will forever cherish his glowing light from above every December and each time I look up at him, I will think of her.
My mom taught me what it meant to make a house a home and I gladly accept the passing of the baton as I prepare for another holiday in my home. I learned from the best for what it meant to feed the family. She opened her house to whomever walked through her door and I now do the same. Christmas is about being with the ones you love in a place that is filled with love.
This is my house–my version–same as her, filled with love.
Love it. Live it. Share it.
