I love nothing more than sharing products I use on a daily basis that actually work. Ok, time out. I may love Aperol Spritz’s and prosciutto more, but sharing products is a close second. I’m the type of gal that when I find something that works, I am a customer for life!

Today I am giving you products that you can read, drink, and use after a poop. Yup. I like to cover all bases.

Here are some of my most favorite new products to date!

***

Patchology Eye Gels

I have used several different eye gel brands throughout the years – these by far being the best yet. Tired eyes have a fighting chance with these little suckers.  Whether you’re hungover or up all night with a kid, Patchology Eye Gels will have you looking somewhat human again. These will forever be a staple in my beauty artillery.

Feminasty

Author/podcaster, Erin Gibson, is all about girl power. And not just any girl power, but the kind of girl power that swears a lot and makes you laugh out loud. Gibson is unapologetically crass and quite provocative. She’s smart, angry, and passionate. The perfect type of feminist if you ask me. Period shaming, pay gaps, sexism, the Me Too Movement, breast cancer, female-owned businesses, and Betsy Devoss are just some of the topics she touches on. If you’re into feminism and laughing – you’ll freaking love Feminasty. I did.

Dermatone

Move over, Carmex! There’s a new lip balm in town. On our most recent ski trip to Park City, our more seasoned ski friends were all over this balm. It’s thicker consistency not only protects from harsh mountain conditions, but it also has SPF 23 which is an added bonus! You don’t need to ski in order to use Dermatone – it is perfect for everyday use off of the mountain too.

Zulay Milk Boss

If you’re a latte kind of guy or gal, you need this frother. For $12.99 you will be whipping up all sorts of coffee drinks from cappuccinos to cortados. It creates the most perfect froth to any beverage and is actually quite fun/meditative to use as well. Get one of these for your kitchen – you’ll be making next level drinks like your favorite barista in no time!

WELL , CBD Infused Massage Cream

CBD is all the rage! But be mindful of what you purchase – not all CBD products are equal. Take some time to investigate what you are using. There is a lot of crap out there. I recently came about this hemp CBD infused lotion by WELL (third party tested) and it has done wonders for my sore muscles. It is infused with 300mg of industrial hemp CBD oil which works with our own body’s endocannabinoid system to seek relief for minor aches and pains. If you have not yet used any CBD products, but are interested, I’d say give this one a go. Smells like lemongrass, too.

A Woman’s Guide to Cannabis

With my recent career transition into the world of medicinal cannabis, I have reading everything and anything I can get my little hands on. Admittedly, the cover to this book originally peeked my interest, however, the content in this little page turner is key. A Woman’s Guide to Cannabis is the perfect book to get you started if cannabis is something that interests you. Whether you’re looking to obtain your medical card to treat ailments or are more interested on a recreational level, this guide will give you a really good run down on what’s what and how to use it. From CBD lotion to pre-roll THC joints, Nikki Furrer has you covered.

Sara Happ in The Peach Slip

When I find a good nude lip, I am a customer for life. This lip by Sara Happ is my go-to. It’s perfectly peach hue is exactly what I need in my life and its thickness helps it last a good amount of time after application. I’ve been using this one for the past four years and I don’t foresee myself changing my nude lip anytime soon. This is a makeup must-have.

Aesop Post-Poo Drops

Yes. You read that correctly. Made with tangerine peel, ylang-ylang, and mandarin peel – these drops will hide any odor and evidence of your morning BM. Or any time of the day BM for that matter. My best friend, Deanna, brought us some from Australia and they are a poop game changer. Post-Poo Drops eliminate the stink and will have your bathroom smelling like a spa.

Happy Shopping!
xo, Lauren

Hygge is humble and slow. It is choosing rustic over new, simple over posh, and ambience over excitement. In many ways, hygge might be the Danish cousin to slow and simple living.
