There are many perks to being a Midwesterner, my favorite being the change of the four seasons.

I love nothing more than knowing that in a few short months, just when I am finally getting into whatever the season is at the moment, the next season is practically around the corner.

Sort of like how a little kid feels about Christmas, but different. The changes of seasons truly give me all the feels.

I am a Midwestern girl through and through and with that being said, sum-sum-summertime is here and the temperature is rising.

This time of year is the ‘suns-out-guns-out’ season we all look forward to. It’s the season us four-seasoners look to maximize our time in the sun because before we know it the leaves will be turning.

Don’t worry. I’m not complaining. I live for this shit.

In the interim, Lauren and I curated a list of summer must-haves we are obsessing over.

We chose options we are living in and that add comfort to our summer experience.

For those of you that are feeling like the COVID lbs haven’t been shed, not to worry, we’ve got you covered there too.

As always, our mission is to enrich your life via cozy living and the summer staples we are sharing will absolutely do just that.

Stay Cozy!

You guys. Michelle and I cried laughing when we sa You guys. Michelle and I cried laughing when we saw the second photo. We were going for pondering forest photos to show off my walkin’ sticks. Did I misplace my neck and turn into the Hunchback of Notre Dame?

Hygge is humble and slow. It is choosing rustic over new, simple over posh, and ambience over excitement. In many ways, hygge might be the Danish cousin to slow and simple living.
