“No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude. “
– Alfred North Whitehead
Even during The COVID19 pandemic, when it feels a lot like the world is falling apart around us, we (Lauren and me) have much to be thankful for and we wanted to extend that thank you to you.
The Sister Project has been our labor of love from its inception seven years ago. Creating content that inspires and enriches your life via cozy mindful wellbeing is why we get up in the morning, but without you, we are just taking up space on the internet.
Every time you read our blogs and share them, there is an uptick in analytics and to content creators, that matters.
When you listen to an episode of Cozy Conversations, we are one stream closer to monetizing and, well, that matters too.
Every time you tag us in an Instagram post or share us with your friends on Facebook or include us in your newsletter, we make another weird new internet friend online and yes, that absolutely matters to us.
I speak for Lauren as well when I say that we never thought we’d connect with so many all across the country and world.
But ultimately, the thing that puts a pep in our step and keeps our motion moving forward are the little notes we receive when we least expect it.
“I saw you on TV, so glad I was able to. You both bring so much enlightenment to me, you have no idea. So, please keep doing what your are doing and know this woman enjoys the time.”
That to us brings us the greatest joy of all. Our cups runneth over! Our buckets are full.
We’ve got one shot at this life. Even while we try and flatten the curve, during the holidays no less, we have got to make the best of it, and you are reading this so you are along for that ride too.
Thank you. We are so grateful for this community of beautiful/fellow cozy enthusiasts, all striving to live a good life filled with laughter.
We love what we do and would be nothing without you and all of your support.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving to you, whatever that might look like this year.
As a sign of our thanks to you, we are offering a list of some of our best, in the event you are looking for some inspiration and the coziest Thanksgiving at home.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we are all seeking little more connection this year. Us too.
Keep it simple. Enjoy a conversation… talk about something besides politics for a change.
We have some tips and a list of questions to help guide your way.
Our Thanksgiving Day checklist is a great place to start and going to keep you organized.
If you want to take cozy at home to the next level right out of the gate, mull our stovetop simmer slow and low all day long.
A holiday isn’t a holiday without a great cocktail. We have so many to choose from like Lauren’s mulled wine or homemade eggnog. But, if I might insert opinion here, The Apple 125 is my favorite.
If you are still working on the menu we have so many great recipes to choose from; Dill Oyster Crackers, Roasted Mushroom Soup, Roast Chicken, Spicy Cranberry Zinfandel Sauce, Arugula Roasted Potato Salad, Pumpkin Chocolate Chop Cookies, Swedish Almond Cake, and The Dutch Baby.
In case you decide to some shopping, we have Gift Guides galore and book lists to help you;

Finally, some tips to stay out of holiday debt because the Lord knows we are leaving the dumpster fire of 2020 behind and staying out of debt during the holidays is a good place to start.
