For the past several months I have cut back on my alcohol intake significantly. I have for the most part eliminated hard alcohol and beers are far and few in between. As I try to follow the Mediterranean diet, I enjoy a glass of wine instead of half a bottle of wine.
There are several reasons why I have cut back, but the root of it all, as we know, is that alcohol just isn’t great for the human body and mind. This is no secret.
Now with this being said, I still love a little THC pick me up or a chill me out so when I’m in the mood, I microdose cannabis.
I love cannabis, always have.
As a busy entrepreneur, yoga teacher, and woman wearing a lot of different hats with a pretty jam-packed to-do list and schedule, sometimes just what I need is a low dose edible.
My go-to is the matter.lite line of gummies, tincture, and Blue Dream 1:1 cartridge. The quality and consistency of their products are exactly what I am looking for in cannabis.
When it comes to edibles, matter.lite Mango 1:1 and Raspberry THC 2.5 mg gummies are hands down, the best I have ever had. I kid you not. The flavor, texture, and efficacy of their gummies are spectacular. They are perfect for folks looking to microdose and those just starting to tap their toes in the cannabis pond. I highly recommend them.
Pro tip: Suck on your gummies, don’t just gobble them up right away.
Here’s why I love micro-dosing:
Less (sometimes, no) calories compared to alcohol.
Cannabis makes me feel inspired to get outdoors and have new experiences.
Creative vibes are flowing.
A cannabis buzz is way different than a boozy one.
I feel good mentally and physically!
I’m still clear-headed and can get loads of work done, clean the hell out of my house, sit back with a good book, or get cozy on my couch and watch a movie.
And lastly, microdosing cannabis offers just the right amount of experience I am looking for.
