If there is one thing I always test positive for, it’s the travel bug.
My body belongs on an airplane. Traveling is embedded into my heart. And if there is one thing I could/would spend all of my dollars on, it would be plane tickets.
When it comes to a travel bucket list I want to experience Mayanmar, Paris, London, Italy (over and over and over again), more of Mexico, Norway, Finland, Scotland, the Maldives, Banff (Canada), Toyko, Tasmania (again), Poland, Germany, more of Australia…there is no limit to where my soul wants to explore.
I’ll take Michigan for crying out loud. I love to see the planet we live on, meet the people we share it with, and eat the food they make.
Over the years of a lot of traveling, I’ve gotten pretty efficient in my wanderlust ways.
There are several items that I always travel with when it comes to sanitation, Covid protocols, skincare, well-being, and organization/efficacy.
Book a ticket…and let’s start packing!
This here is a beautiful lip balm. The scent is a delicate combo of roses and vanilla and the effects are strong. Plus, I love the hue…blush in the jar but goes on clear. Keep your kisser moisturized with True Botanicals. Oh and most importantly, it’s made with non-toxic, clean ingredients.
One of my best pieces of advice is to have all of your airplane skincare and must-haves in one pouch. This way you can whip it out, use everything you need at once, and place it back in your bag. There is nothing worse than digging around in a tote bag collecting everything you need.
This pouch is the perfect size and comes in a plethora of colors.
3. Air Pods
Do yourself a favor. Splurge just a bit and go wireless. The Apple AirPods Pro are the chef’s kiss when it comes to earbuds. They are sweat and water-resistant, offer noise cancellation, and come with three sizes of soft silicone tips so they are sure to fit your ears perfectly.
These will come in handy when you want to listen to Cozy Conversations on the airplane or need to cancel out a crying baby or the chatterbox sitting in front of you.
4. Passport & Vaccination Holder
Keep your boarding pass, passport, and vaccination card all in one place. Just like the essential pouch above, when everything is in one place it causes less frustration and more efficient traveling. I LOVE this holder plus it comes in a few of colors to choose from.
Get a little jittery on flights? Then these CBD calming mints by Equilibria are for you. They are super fast-acting and get the job done. Do yourself a favor…buckle up, sit back, pop one of these under your tongue, and take a few deep breaths. You’ll feel calmer in no time.

I use a silk mask both on the plane as well as in a bed. Shut out the world and get some zzzs. Plus, using silk is best for your beautiful skin.
7. Lysol Disinfectant Travel Wipes
Covid or not covid, we should be wiping down armrests and tray tables regardless. I’ve seen grown men pick their noses on the plane and babies spit up all over the place. It feels so much cozier sitting in a seat that you know was just wiped down…even if you’re the one doing it.
ALERT! BEST PACKING TIP EVER. Packing cubes make packing so much more efficient. You’ll save space and know where all of your clothing items are. I usually separate according to articles of clothing. Underwear, pajamas, and bathing suits in one. Delicate tops on another. Yoga clothes and t-shirts in yet another. Etc., etc.
9. N95 Masks
Masks are still mandatory on flights and they don’t look like they’re going anywhere anytime soon so you might as well stock up on the good ones. Since you never know who you’ll be sitting next to you, it can be more reassuring to chill in flight with an N-95. I know they’re a pain in the ass, but I always feel a bit better when sitting next to total strangers when they’re wearing their mask as a chin strap.
10. Vapur Collapsible Water Bottle
DO NOT BUY WATER BOTTLES AT THE AIRPORT. Sorry, but that must be in capital letters. Plastic is the devil. Plus, all airports now have water stations for you to refill your reusable water bottle. This collapsable water bottle is the best in the biz and will have you feeling good about staying hydrated AND not adding to the planet’s plastic problem.
Face mist is a total game-changer at all times, but especially when in flight and when wearing a mask for hours. It’s the perfect way to get a quick mist to your pretty face and have you arriving at your destination feeling a touch more hydrated than when you took off.
Use Patchology eye gels before a nice dinner out while on vacation or for the morning before you leave to head home. Eye gels offer a wonderful way to brighten up your face and take away any feelings of looking a bit tired. I LOVE these gels made by Patchology.
13. True Botanicals Pure Radiance Face Oil
Friends, this is hands down the best face oil I have ever used. TB’s Pure Radiance Face Oil keeps my face moisturized all day and gives me the perfect post-flight glow I desire upon landing. It’s smells incredible, is non-toxic, and is a real treat to you pretty face.
I use it every morning, night, and when needed.
Pro tip: After you’ve patted a few drops on your face, pat the top of your hands with whatever is leftover.
My travel skincare regiment includes a Power Glow Peel Pad before I take off for vacation and one more when on my way back home. It’s literally like a mini facial in your suitcase. I have been using these for years and I don’t foresee myself ever stopping.
They are not only a must have for travel, but for keeping my skin looking fresh, hydrated, and exfoliated.
Happy Travels, friends!
