I’m taking a break from my maternity leave to share my excitement for our newest seasonal candle, Fall AF.
For the past two weeks, I have been burning our candle in our home, and let’s just say that it’s safe to say…I am ready for fall!
Typically I have a strongly enforced rule regarding my burning of seasonal candles.
For example, I like to wait until September 1 to start burning anything autumn. It’s still summer after all and there are plenty of days to linger by the pool and simmer in the sun.
But, being that I needed to test our candle to make sure Michelle and I love it, I’ve been living fall vibes well before I typically do.
AND I AM LOVING IT.
When Michelle and I set out to create our first fall candle, we knew it had to be something really, really special.
It’s important to understand that we have a very sophisticated nose when it comes to autumn scents. Growing up our home reeked (in a wonderful way) of fall. And not just during the fall, but nearly all year round.
We grew up in a fall-loving home and for this, I am truly grateful.
Each year I look forward to graying skies, cooler temps, sleeping with the windows open, soups on the stovetop, sweater weather, cozy vibes…
And, of course, the perfect fall candle.
I can’t tell you how many hours I have spent sniffing around for warm scents wrapped in spiced notes and hints of apple in the form of a candle. Believe it or not, there is a perfect scent when it comes to the perfect fall candle.
(Spoiler alert: We nailed it with Fall AF.)
Our goal in creating this candle was for you to take one sniff, just one, and to be teleported into the magical mindset of fall.
Actually, our exact words to our candle maker were:
We want this candle to punch people in the face with the scents of autumn.
And that is exactly what it does.
Harvest Apple, Pumpkin, and a pinch of Cinnamon are the notes that make up The Sister Project’s Fall AF candle.
It’s what fall candle dreams are made of.
We’re so damn proud of this product and beyond excited to share it with you all.
If you’ve followed us long enough, you know we are junkies for fall and this candle is the epitome of what an autumn candle should and better smell like.
Not only is the scent stunning, but so is the vessel. It should also be noted that the candle is made with a combination of soy and coconut wax and has a wooden wick that offers just enough crackle to really put you in the mood.
