Pastina
Tiny pasta cooked in broth, egg, and parmesan cheese.

- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup pastina I prefer Barilla
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
Pour chicken stock into a small soup pot and bring to a boil.
Add pastina and cook per the instructions. Mine took 6 minutes.
While the pastina is cooking, beat the eggs.
After the pastina is done cooking, turn off the heat and slowly add the eggs. Stir continuously. The eggs will cook as you stir.
Add the parmesan cheese, butter, salt and pepper and serve!
