Kale, Blueberry, and Almond Butter Smoothie
A brain-healthy smoothie full of leafy greens, berries, almond butter, and dates.
- 1 cup blueberries preferably frozen
- 2 dates, pitted
- 1 kale stem, rib removed preferably dinosaur
- 1 banana preferably frozen
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 c coconut water
- handful of ice
- You can replace the kale with spinach if you prefer to have a less 'green' tasting smoothie.
- You can top with a toasted buckwheat for an added crunch and added health benefits.
