Kale, Blueberry, and Almond Butter Smoothie

A brain-healthy smoothie full of leafy greens, berries, almond butter, and dates.

  • High Powered Blender


  • 1 cup blueberries preferably frozen
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 kale stem, rib removed preferably dinosaur
  • 1 banana preferably frozen
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 c coconut water
  • handful of ice


  • Throw all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into your glass and enjoy.


  • You can replace the kale with spinach if you prefer to have a less 'green' tasting smoothie.
  • You can top with a toasted buckwheat for an added crunch and added health benefits.
